Victor Equipment has released the new version of the Journeyman and Journeyman II cutting and welding torch kit. The kits components have remained the same except the regulators. The regulators are now the new EDGE regulators that Victor just released also. The EDGE regulator is the latest breakthrough in regulator technology. The best regulator for safety is now in the Victor lineup. This regulator, when attached, does not extrude further than the shoulder of the cylinder. The older style regulators would extrude 3-6 inches past the shoulder of the cylinder. If a cylinder would get knocked over, the older regulators would be broken off and then the cylinder could become out of control. The new design will not extrude out and thus preventing a major safety issue. That is the main difference in the new outfits compared to the previous models.
