There are two places to mount flashback arrestors. One place is on the regulators and the other is the torch handle. These mount onto the torch handle.
Flashback arrestors are used for safety purposes. These will prevent a flashback from going into the torch lines and possibly back to the tanks causing an explosion. Flashbacks are caused when the fuel is burning back into the torch. A flashback can be a deadly event. All torches should have flashback arrestors on them at all time.
